The
IRG 3000 is the intelligent solution for cable fault
location as a system component of the BAUR TRANSCABLE
cable test van system. It combines the well-established
VLF and DC cable testing and all diagnostic methods with
latest TDR technology. It is also used to control the
TRANSCABLE test van system. The use of latest state of
the art fault location technologies, including fully
automatic controls of all cable fault parameters using
time domain reflectrometry and resistance analysis. The
design of IRG 3000 sets new international standards in
automatic cable fault location. The new IRG 3000 works
with a real time clock frequency of 200 MHz and a
built-in multi-channel DSP controlled transient
recorder. All known applications of low voltage pulse
echo techniques with distance measurement, such as
pre-location of low, medium, high and intermittent fault
resistances can easily be achieved.
