The operating unit includes all operating and indication elements. The high voltage unit is equipped with a high voltage transformer and a rectifier rod for DC operation; or alternatively a resistance rod for AC operation. Due to the two part design the HV-test set offers safe operation. All instruments type PGK HB are short-circuit proof and include a load current compensated voltage measuring device. The integrated milliamperemeter is switchable in 3 decades. DC voltage output or AC voltage output selectable. Oil insulated, maintenance-free high voltage transformer.
