VLF/DC Hipot Tester with Integrated Tan Delta

Our HVA series HVA34 is arguably the top selling VLF/DC instrument on the market, so we added Tan Delta diagnostics to sweeten the deal! This combination allows the user to employ a VLF Hi-potential test while observing Tan Delta diagnostics.

Having the additional onboard diagnostic gives an inside look to the condition of the cable’s insulation. We preload this unit with test sequences that comply with the IEEE 400.2 standard, so cable testing has never been easier.

The HVA34TD-1 accommodates maintenance testing requirements for 25kV rated cables and below as per the latest revision of IEEE400.2 testing standard.

A single piece design, weighting only 86 pounds, this unit rolls like a suitcase for easy transport and comes with everything you need to test cable including corona suppression donuts, ground cable, High voltage test lead, simple test interfaces, etc.
